You ever drive past a gym and think... one day I'll join, just not now... well yesterday was my first day doing instead of just saying. Even my dad was surprised.
I'm hoping to go daily to become fitter and toned. This being said, I also need to have a diet plan instead of just drinking coffee and a snack at dinner help. If anyone has any tips I am more than open for suggestions.
I started out on the treadmill (I went in sets of 20 minutes, 20 minutes and 10 minutes) with my new playlist I created specifically for gym times (consisting of Drake, Biggie, Snoop, Eminem, AC/DC, Guns 'N' Roses, etc.) to keep me motivated, however I got tired 10 minutes in - weak I know - and almost died. Not really, but it felt like it.
I used this bike machine that literally felt like my legs were getting shredded.
And then I moved on to the leg press machine. A whopping 2kg heck yeah so strong!
He started me out on what was supposed to be the "easy" one - 4kg - which I couldn't even move, and struggled with 3 so I put it down to 2kg.
I'm aiming to go one up each week *fingers crossed*
Does anyone know if powerade is actually good or bad for you/workouts?
I'll do weekly updates on my gym progress with occasional photos ^_^
